Tough Enough Events

Throughout the year, the Tough Enough To Wear Pink of Montana organization works with sponsors, promoters and individual volunteers to organize and host a number of key fundraising events.  From Golfing to real life Cowboy and Cowgirl competitions and clinics.  No matter what your fancy might be, Tough Enough to Wear Pink of Montana has an event that will suit you and give you the opportunity to prove that you are "Tough Enough" to participate! 

 


Ribbons and Rhinestones Annual Golf Tournament

Each year, Tough Enough to Wear Pink of Montana teams up with the Miss Rodeo Montana organization to host the annual Ribbons & Rhinestones Annual Golf Tournament.   Each year, the reigning Miss Rodeo Montana hosts the 18 Hole Scramble.  This year marks the 4th annual Ribbons & Rhinestones Gold Tournament and we are pleased to the Ranch Club in Missoula, Montana.  The event is scheduled for August 13, 2010 and we are currently accepting entry applications

SPACE IS LIMITED!  We can only accept 30 teams (4 players each). 

Entry deadline is August 7th, 2010.

Your entry fee Includes green fees, 2 carts per team, fruit & coffee breakfast, lunch & one drink per player. Mulligans may be purchased the day of the event.

Registration begins at 8am with a Shotgun start at 9am

 Chicks N Chaps™ Womens Rodeo Clinic

The Inaugural Chicks n Chaps™ Women's Rodeo Clinic was held August 8, 2008 in Missoula, Montana at the Missoula Stampede Rodeo.

170 women attended this "fun" raiser to help fight breast cancer. 'Chicks' met top cowboys from around the state, were given tours of the bucking chutes and rodeo equipment and enjoyed one on one time with professional cowboys as well as great food and drinks from the "8 Second Saloon".

This ground school, complete with roping and riding stations, concluded with a raffle, an auction of a custom Montana Silversmiths Chicks n Chaps™ belt buckle and a rodeo performance.

Sort Pink™ - Celebrity Team/Ranch Sorting

May 16th, 2009 marked the First Annual Tough Enough to Wear Pink of Montana Sort Pink™ Celebrity Team Sorting and we are already planning the 2010 Sort Pink™ Celebrity Team Sorting .

Whether you call it Team Sorting or Ranch Sorting, or whether you are a seasoned professional cow sorter or have never been in the pen with a cow, this is the event for you!  This classic ranch activity is conducted in a Jackpot competition format with event classes for all.  Youth classes, Professional (or "open") classes and classes strictly for the beginner who has never sorted cattle from one pen to another, the Sort Pink™ Celebrity Sorting has something for you.

Big Sky Saturday Night 

Get ready to sit back and enjoy an evening of storytelling, music, and great company! On Saturday, August 7th 2010, Baxter Black will be performing at the Ravalli County Fairgrounds. Baxter Black is a renowned Cowboy Poet, author, and humorist. He tells stories about his days as a veterinarian and rancher in a manner that can tickle the funny bone of anyone from six to eighty-six. This family-friendly event is the perfect way to spend a Big Sky Saturday Night! Rounding out the evening is Kyle Shobe and the Walk ‘Em Boys, performing after Baxter Black in the First Interstate Bank pavilion at the fairgrounds. Food vendors (Jakers, Carino’s, and the Filling Station) will be there so you can have dinner before or after the performance, and the Rainbow Bar will be set up for thirsty adults. 

General admission tickets ($25) are available at Quality Supply in Missoula, Hamilton, Dillon, and Butte. Reserved seats ($35) are available from the Ravalli County Fairgrounds office at (406) 363-3411.

 

Pink Night with the Missoula Osprey

It’s not just bull riders that are Tough Enough to Wear Pink! The Missoula Osprey baseball team has joined up and will be wearing pink when they take the field against the Orem Owls on July 14th. As an added bonus, we’ll be auctioning off the team jerseys so pick out your favorite player and make an offer! You can get more information and bid online at http://www.missoulaosprey.com
